Team members
Scout is built for marketing teams, not solo seats. Invite your content writers, SEO leads, and stakeholders so everyone reads from the same dashboard — and so the people doing the work can mark Optimize Hub actions as done themselves.
Seat limits per plan
| Plan | Seats |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 (you only) |
| Starter | 3 |
| Growth | 10 |
| Premium | 20 |
Inviting a team member
-
Go to Settings → Team
You'll see a list of current members and an "Invite member" button.
-
Enter their email and pick a role
Choose Member (full access) or Viewer (read-only). Most teammates only need Viewer.
-
Send the invite
Scout emails them a one-time join link. The link is valid for 7 days.
-
They accept
Clicking the link opens a sign-up page where they create their password (or sign in with Google). Once accepted, they appear in your team list as Active.

Removing a member
Open Settings → Team, find the member, click the three-dot menu, choose Remove. They lose access immediately. Their actions remain in the audit log.
The Owner is whoever created the workspace. There's only one Owner per account. To transfer ownership, email [email protected] from the current Owner's email.
