Quora suggestions
Quora answers rank in Google for years and are a frequent source for ChatGPT and Perplexity. The Quora Suggestions spoke surfaces high-intent questions in your category — and generates an expert answer for you to refine and post.
Why Quora matters for AI visibility
- Long shelf lifeA solid Quora answer keeps ranking and getting cited for years — far longer than a social post.
- Buyer-intent signalPeople ask Quora when they're researching purchases, not just curious — exactly the audience you want.
- AI training signalQuora is in major AI training sets. Strong upvoted answers get woven into how AIs talk about your category.
How the spoke works
-
Scout discovers questions via SerpAPI
It searches
site:quora.comfor questions matching your topics and keywords, then ranks them by follower count, answer count and relevance. -
You see one card per question
Each card shows the question, a snippet, follower/answer counts, and a relevance score from 0–100.
-
Generate an expert answer
Click Generate answer and Scout drafts a 200–400 word response using Claude — referencing your brand only when it's a natural fit, never as a sales pitch.
-
Edit, post, mark Done
Refine the draft in your own voice, paste it on Quora, and mark the card Done.
AI-generated answers without edits get downvoted and hidden by Quora moderators — and never make it into AI training sets. Always personalise the draft with a real example from your customers before posting.
Answering rules that work
- Lead with a direct answer. The first sentence should answer the question — not preamble.
- Show your work. Quora rewards answers that explain "how" or "why", not just "what".
- Mention your brand once, with disclosure. "Disclosure: I work at X" is the safest pattern.
- Acknowledge alternatives. Single-vendor answers get downvoted; balanced ones get cited.
- Add a unique data point or example. This is what AI engines pick up.
Cadence
Quora answers are evergreen. Spend an hour on one excellent reply per week — it'll keep earning citations long after you stop posting.
