Notifications
Scout notifies you two ways: in-app (the bell icon at the top of the dashboard) and over email. This page lists every notification type and how to control them.
The notification bell
The bell icon in the top-right of the dashboard shows a red dot whenever you have unread notifications. Click it to open the notification dropdown — recent first, unread highlighted. Click any item to jump to the relevant page, or click Mark all read to clear them.

Controlling email delivery
Open Settings → Profile → Notification preferences to toggle which types arrive over email. In-app notifications (the bell) cannot be turned off — they're how Scout flags time-sensitive issues.
Keep Score drop, Sentiment alert, and Weekly summary on. Turn off Scan complete if you scan daily — those emails get noisy.
